Our hand-picked, highly trained doctors and staff members strive to provide an unparalleled level of care every day. As a team, we embrace a core set of values that serve as our foundation for ensuring delivery of high quality, compassionate veterinary care that your pet deserves.
Dr. John GrahamI have traveled far and wide over the course of my training and career. Originally from Toronto, Canada, I attended the University of Western in Ontario to obtain my Bachelor of Health Science degree. I attended veterinary school at Ross University, completing my clinical training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After receiving my DVM, I completed a 1-year rotating internship in medicine and surgery at the VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona.
I began working at AZPetVet Dobson Ranch Animal Hospital immediately following my internship training, and and am excited to have recently joined the team at AZPetVet Signal Butte. Outside of work, I enjoy just about everything this beautiful state has to offer but particularly mountain biking, hiking, and camping.
Dr. Scott BarnardI was born and raised in Ohio and received my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University in 1990. Upon graduation, I moved to North Carolina, where I practiced small animal medicine for 17 years - four of those years spent in emergency/ trauma medicine. I was also the treasurer for the North Carolina Academy of Small Animal Medicine from 1995-2006 and am a member of the AVMA. My special interests include critical care, geriatric medicine, cardiology, dermatology, surgery, and small animal exotics (ferrets, rabbits, and small rodents) I believe that the key to proper veterinary care is compassion with an emphasis on offering state of the art veterinary medicine along with client education.
I am married to my high school sweetheart, Carolyn, and we have four children: Zachary, Joshua, Jacob, and Rebecca. In my spare time, I enjoy being an assistant coach for my children's baseball and softball teams, swimming, and other various outdoor activities with our two dogs, Sid and Emma.
Dr. Deanna OlsonI was raised in rural central Illinois, where my passion for animal medicine began. I attended Colorado State University and studied biochemistry. I continued my education at Colorado State University, earning my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree. During this time, I worked as a veterinary technician at a small animal clinic and had the opportunity to treat wildlife in Thailand. My particular veterinary interests are nutrition and cardiology.
While outside of work, I love to play frisbee with my Golden Retriever, Tulsa, and hang out with my cat, Oaklie. I spend my free time hiking, camping, reading, and relaxing outside. I am thrilled to join the AZPetVet family! Together, we can help our furry family members live their best lives. I am eager to meet you and your pet soon!
