Dr. John Graham
I have traveled far and wide over the course of my training and career. Originally from Toronto, Canada, I attended the University of Western in Ontario to obtain my Bachelor of Health Science degree. I attended veterinary school at Ross University, completing my clinical training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After receiving my DVM, I completed a 1-year rotating internship in medicine and surgery at the VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona. I began working at AZPetVet Dobson Ranch Animal Hospital for many years immediately following my internship training, and have been a part of Signal Butte Animal Hospital since it's inception. Outside of work, I enjoy just about everything this beautiful state has to offer but particularly mountain biking and hiking and try to maximize time spent with my wife, two sons and house full of animals.
Dr. Scott Barnard
I was born and raised in Ohio and received my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University in 1990. Upon graduation, I moved to North Carolina, where I practiced small animal medicine for 17 years - four of those years spent in emergency/ trauma medicine. I was also the treasurer for the North Carolina Academy of Small Animal Medicine from 1995-2006 and am a member of the AVMA. My special interests include critical care, geriatric medicine, cardiology, dermatology, surgery, and small animal exotics (ferrets, rabbits, and small rodents). I believe that the key to proper veterinary care is compassion with an emphasis on offering state of the art veterinary medicine along with client education. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Carolyn, and we have four children: Zachary, Joshua, Jacob, and Rebecca. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time and doing outdoor activities with my family and our dogs.
Dr. Deanna Olson
I was raised in rural central Illinois, where my passion for animal medicine began. I attended Colorado State University and studied biochemistry. I continued my education at Colorado State University, earning my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree. During this time, I worked as a veterinary technician at a small animal clinic and had the opportunity to treat wildlife in Thailand. My particular veterinary interests are nutrition and cardiology. While outside of work, I love to play frisbee with my Golden Retriever, Tulsa, and hang out with my cat, Oaklie. I spend my free time hiking, camping, reading, and relaxing outside. I am thrilled to have joined the AZPetVet family! Together, we can help our furry family members live their best lives. I am eager to meet you and your pet soon!
