Dr. Tanya LopezDr. Tanya Lopez graduated from Washington State University in 1999. She has practiced in the Northeast Valley for 15 years. Her passions are internal medicine, dentistry, geriatric care, feline care and pain management. She loves making all patient visits as stress free and comfortable as possible. Cats are especially sensitive and Dr. Lopez strives to make sure all felines are handled with the extra care and compassion they need. Dr. Lopez lives in the Northeast Valley with her husband, Dr. Tim White and their rescued family, 3 dogs and 2 cats.
Dr. Alycia HagenmaierI’m a native Phoenician (yes, we really exist) and I earned my undergraduate degree at good old ASU (Arizona State University for the newcomers - go Sun Devils!). After ASU, I headed for vet school at Colorado State University - and I’m proud to say I just earned my DVM!
While I’m a new veterinarian, I’ve actually worked as a vet tech for 10 years, so I’m familiar with all aspects of an animal hospital. I’m particularly interested in allergies and dermatology cases.
One of the most exciting things about joining the AZPetVet team is meeting so many doctors in our family of animal hospitals that share similar interests or specialties.
Everyone benefits from being able to compare notes with colleagues, whether it’s tracking down elusive allergies or something’s particularly puzzling or challenging in a case. I’m looking forward to collaborating with vets who have different experiences to share. We have a pretty strong home team to rely on, and we can always call on the reserves if we need them.
I also love to try new restaurants (there’s never a shortage in Scottsdale), hiking, horse-back riding and camping.
Can’t wait to meet you and your very special pets!
