The Roadrunner Animal Hospital team consists of four veterinarians, an office manager, a certified veterinary technician and 3 veterinary assistants that all have you and your pets needs as our priorities. Roadrunner Animal Hospital has been serving pets and their owners for over 20 years. Our veterinarians are licensed to practice in Arizona and have a combined experience of more than 25 years, ensuring your pet will benefit from our experience, education, and up to date veterinary care and medicine. Having three doctors on staff allows us to discuss cases and share our knowledge on a daily basis. We also are fully staffed 6 days a week, so we can see you and your pet when it best fits your schedule and needs. With a focus on communication, we have regular meetings to ensure we are offering the best care to every client and pet. All of our staff is provided continuing education to help you make the best health care decisions for your pet. And all of our staff members are pet owners, so we understand the importance of pets in your life.

Dr. Kent Livermore

I was brought up in rural northwest Iowa. After graduating from veterinary school at Iowa State University in 1978, I moved to sunny Phoenix. I have worked at Roadrunner Animal Hospital since March of 1994. I enjoy working with a great staff that has a passion to give quality medical care. My wonderful wife and I have been married since 1987. We have two boys, Riley and Austin, a beautiful daughter Courtney, and an incredible dog Annie. My extra time is filled with family activities, community service, travel, bicycling, and serving at my church, Pure Heart Christian Fellowship.

Dr. Jose Evans

I am originally from Puerto Rico; I have been in Arizona since 2009. I graduated from St. George's University in June 2009 and have a bachelor's degree from Universidad Metropolitana in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I have a wonderful wife, Kelli, who I met in vet school and have two great dogs, Sara and Sally, which we adopted off the streets. I enjoy spending time with my family, diving and I look forward to traveling all around the world soon.

Dr. Elizabeth Glicksman

I was born and raised in New York City. After receiving my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University, I made my way west to Phoenix. Prior to that, I received my Bachelor's degree in Biology from NYU. I love all aspects of veterinary medicine, but my personal interests include acupuncture, surgery, and working with exotics. In my free time I enjoy traveling, playing sports, and photography.

Dr. Stephanie Strautman

I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. I did my undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona, and my post graduate studies at Colorado State University, graduating in 2017. Over the years, I’ve volunteered in animal clinics, shelters and wildlife rehabilitation programs. As a part of the AZPetVet family, my special interests include Internal Medicine, surgery and client education.

I live with my boyfriend, Tarik, our dog Mike, and a Ball python named Delilah. My hobbies include spending time with friends and family, hiking and traveling. I’m looking forward to meeting you and your pets!

Dr. Adam Riley

Native Hoosier here, born in Munster, Indiana. I did my Bachelor of Science at Purdue University, and received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Midwestern University Glendale, AZ in 2018. While I’m a new veterinarian, I’m not new to the field. In fact, I’ve worked for more than a decade in animal hospitals. That’s how I developed strong interests in preventive medicine, soft tissue surgery and dentistry.

My wife is also a veterinarian, which explains how we’ve ended up with two dogs - Elli the German Shepherd Dog, Freya the shepherd mix, Odin the one-eyed cat and Tyre the Sulcata tortoise. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, birdwatching - basically, anything outdoors. Be sure to say hello next time you’re here - I’d love to meet you and your pets!

Dr. Liam Allen

I was born and raised on Long Island, New York, but moved to Park City, Utah, in high school. I earned my Bachelor’s in Veterinary Technology in 2012, and my Master’s in Medical Laboratory Science in 2014 from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. I graduated from Midwestern University, earning my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May 2019.

I live with my amazing wife and two Scottish Terriers, Dibbs, and Daphne. I have kept a unique assortment of pets throughout my life, including reptiles, rabbits, llamas, goats, and emus. My areas of interest include surgery, dentistry, and preventative medicine. My hobbies include skiing, camping, golfing, and painting. I look forward to caring for your pets.

Dr. Tatyana Lyakhova

I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. I moved to the United States to attend the University of Colorado for my undergraduate degree - graduating with honors. Before vet school, I worked in a private practice and shelter as a veterinary assistant, later taking care of professional show dogs, and even worked in a wildlife rehab. I fell in love with Colorado, so I decided to continue my education at Colorado State University, receiving my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. My veterinary interests include internal medicine and exotic pet care.

I share my home with my 2 fur children: my dog Plato, and cat Mia. Besides caring for pets, I love exploring the outdoors, reading, and traveling around the world. I’m also learning how to play the ukulele and to speak Spanish!
