Bell Ridge Animal Hospital, Boarding & Grooming - PhoenixThe Bell Ridge Animal Hospital, Boarding & Grooming team consists of five veterinarians, an office manager, and about ten support staff that are dedicated to welcome you and make your pet’s health needs our top priority. Our veterinarians are licensed to practice in Arizona and have over 40 years of experience combined. This helps to ensure your pet will benefit from our experience, education, and up to date veterinary care and medicine. Having three doctors on staff allows us to discuss cases and share our knowledge on a daily basis. We also are able to be fully staffed 6 days a week, so we can see you and your pet when it best fits your schedule and needs. Our staff feels that communication and continuing education is important to ensure the best care to every client and their pet. We are dedicated to providing exceptional service, which is one of our core values, and allows us to help you make the best health care decisions for your pet. All of our staff members are pet owners, so we understand the important role your pet plays in your family.
Dr. David TangBelieve it or not, I am a second-generation Arizona native and a proud graduate of Madison Simis Elementary and Central High School in Phoenix! I completed my undergraduate education at Occidental College in Los Angeles and received my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University in 1985. I joined the Bell Ridge Animal Hospital staff in 1991 and have witnessed its growth through three remodels to its current 3600 square feet, including the addition of boarding services and evolution into a multi-doctor practice. My goal for myself and the Bell Ridge team is to provide exceptional veterinary medical care and service to our patients and their families that entrust us with their care.
Dr. Candice HornerI was raised in Goldston, North Carolina. I received my undergraduate Biology degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, with an emphasis in Zoology in 2003. I went on to earn a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St. George's University and finished my clinical year at North Carolina State University in 2009. My main clinical interests include surgery and pain management. Outside the hospital, I enjoy traveling, scuba diving, and spoiling my dog, Buckley.
Dr. Lydia BolducI am originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I received my bachelor's degree in Zoology from the University of Maine in 2013. From there, I moved to Arizona to pursue a master’s degree in Biomedical Science before attending veterinary school as a part of the inaugural class of Midwestern University. I received my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. My clinical interests include nutrition, dermatology, and dentistry. When I’m not at the hospital, I love cooking, camping, craft beer, and spending time with my Pitbull mix, Daja, and 4 cats.
Dr. Nicole JohnsonDr. Johnson grew up in Simi Valley, California. She studied at California Lutheran University, receiving her undergraduate degree in 2015. She continued her education at Midwestern University and graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. Before attending veterinary school, she was a veterinary assistant and technician for 4 years at a clinic in California.
